Karlotta studiert Bühnen- und Kostümbild an der National Academy of Dramatic Arts in Dublin, Irland und schließt mit einem Master of Fine Arts ab. Seither arbeitet sie mit Theater- und Film RegiseurInnen zusammen, zum Beispiel Nicola Murphy, Kevin Barz, & Dominic von Gunten. Im Grundstudium studiert sie Kulturwissenschaften
und
Digitale Medienkunst an der Leuphana Universitat Lüneburg und graduiert mit einem Bachelor of Arts. Dort beginnt sie, sich auf Szenographie und Kostüm für Theater und Film zu fokussieren. Hospitanzen und Assistenzen am Ernst Deutsch Theater, Thalia Theater, an der Bayrischen Staatsoper und am Jungen Schauspielhaus Hamburg
bestärkten diese Richtung.
Karlotta is a Set and Costume Designer. She holds a BA in
Cultural Studies and Digital Media Art from Leuphana University, Lüneburg, (Germany). Within this she began to focus on scenography for theatre and film and started to work in theatres around Germany. Subsequently she studied Stage Design at the National Academy of Dramatic Art (the lir) in Dublin, Ireland. She completed with a Master of Fine Arts and since then collaborates closely with directors on theatre performances and short films in Germany and Ireland. Her aesthetic layers materials and structures in order to reveal vulnerability in both the performers and the audience alike.
